What is FX animators?

It's jobs include the following :

Create and deliver stock FX for the series in a timely manner
Create and deliver show specific FX in a timely manner
Report regularly to the Supervising FX Animator informing him/her of any concerns or new developments
Follow the creative direction of the production from an FX standpoint as communicated by the Supervisor
Maintain a methodical clear system of data storage and retrieval of stock FX

But I still don't know what FX means

FX 正解系外匯 (foreign exchange)

自從特技盛行之後, fx 也作 effects 的簡稱. 做stage 後台的人也會常用到 sfx, lfx 代表 sound effects, light effects.

電影, game 行內就會把 sfx 譯為 special effects
