你地會set bone 先 or modeling先??

今日看回一本xsi 舊書"character animation"

作者有一段這樣講:
you may have noticed that i am recommending that the
modeling stage of character development, which is often
done before animating, be done after the animation stage.
this may differ from what many animators-especially students- are familiar with. in most cases, it isn't necessary
to have a high-resolution model when animating.
working with a low-res stand-in model will greatly speed
your interface refresh, and your render tests will go mush
faster. also, if while animating, you decide that the character
needs to be recast due to changes in the story, you haven't
wasted a lot of time modeling a character you will never use.
even in a production house setting, modeling and animation
are often done by separate departments. the animation
departments may not actually get the model prior to production, but they still can keep to their own animation
schedule by dummy model.

In my opinion, I will do the low-res modeling then animation. The model could easy to control the env. of scene and the size of all element . Then the low-res model will continous to be a high-res modeling.

Yes, that is what the book mean. not your question . set bone first or model first.

yes, i prefer animate with the low res, finalize with the high res.
