你地幾時 ( 歲數 ) 開始接觸 3d 哩樣野?????

我好久之前以經接觸 ( 打機 ) ,
幾年前起hk都機 "fu" 穩唔倒書睇(3DS)<-----我既問題?
依架FIND倒但都系都唔知點入門..........

我其實而架mud都唔識............gum我學mud好????3ds???我有一本3ds既書但系好無聊既........我計唔continue學 3ds好??學maya??lightwave???(靜系識得尼幾個kakaka)
有mud好tutorial界紹?

阿系阿我今年15歲就16啦~~~~

希望大家可以幫倒我啦.......

learn the one which you feel it will have the most resources and books.

i strongly recommand you should start with MAYA (althought i am a Soft guy). since it has the most user friendly interface.

其實想學3d應試下用唔同軟件,當試到一個最合自己的,就用那個進深吧!
我也試過用maya可是,不太熟,最後選了用3d studio max
加油呀!

I suggest you to try several hot software and find out which one you feel comfortable. The one fit for me may not fit your needs!

對於一個15,6歲的你來說,是一個好學好動時期,但是做3D反而可能是一個很沉悶很苦腦又有刺激的工作,因為你可能回天要用幾小時的時間去做一些3d的事前工作然後才真正常試做3d模型,但經常會失敗,但成功後又感自豪,不論點都好你年紀還小大把時間不像我,我真的很大個!但我只剛剛開始還在學習中.最後給你忠告{玩這些東西一定要有錢又有時間}明嗎! :P

建議你在試過兩MM後,
如發覺依然摸唔清兩個軟件的制作流程,
或者搞到頭暈頭痛,
特別是如果你是鍾情於人,怪獸等等生物制作,
我十分建議你試試Lightwave 3d.
好短時間內只需要幾個功能及熟識基本流程,
就可以做到點作品啦.
個挫敗感無咁大...
教學嘛,上它的母廠就有不少.

you think you're too late to learn 3d?? you are only 15 ja wor! :o

I love 3D so much that I didn't give up in 1 week... in fact i haven't give up in years... that's not a good thing i tell you! I totally agree with oyesone that 玩這些東西一定要有錢又有時間... :x

i started when i was 16. I jumped into 3D hoping to get a decent part-time job while in school, but i figure 3d jobs aren't as easy to get as those web desigh job. After many months of learning various 3d areas, I researched and spent all my savings on a new computer, xsi 3d package, and many 3d books/videos/magazines, just to get myself REALLY started. That took a while... because finding and choosing the correct resources is rather difficult!!! (especially my budget is limited) moreover, I have life with friends, full time school, part time job. An addition of 3D hobby take away many hours of my other life, which I kinda regret now. Youth without money and time like me shouldn't have jump too deep (especially if you've TOO much interest) in it so early. :cry:

Well, do have fun with 3D now, but remember to save up money. Then, go take a full-time 3d education after high school (if 3d is still hot by then?) and you can become a 3D master in a year! Oh!....if you are REaLLy interested in art/graphic, I would suggest u to get
a good solid drawing foundation now. draw draW DRAW! If you jump into 3D too early and figure out u dont know enough anatomy,color system,math,etc.. you'll be wasting your time. :wink:

All the 3d soft is capable of doing all the fx out there. However, technology is advancing soOO quickly that all the 3d method/stuff you learn today might not be that usefull in the future. That's why I suggested you to learn a software in college when you've time to use it. Certainly, it doesn't hurt to learn some now if u've time to spare. :)

well, 3D is a REALLY broad topic (that's why i LOVE it..hehe). Definately choose an specific area first! let us know so we could help! It's wrong for me to recommend u max when u wanna do industrial design or 3d video fx (matrix bullet effects)..... :wink:

我是自學max的,初時會看網上的教學,如http://www.3dcafe.com/asp/freestuff.asp(希望你英文唔差啦...)
然後就按自己須要找資料
至於書,我會在書局中看,當中有值得留下的資料我才會買,如果你看懂簡體字便買簡體字的書吧!(便宜一半啊!)

There are so many economic school in H.K., some are just several hundreds H.K.$, of course that't the basic course but already excellent for triggering your nerves for the 3D software. Selecting what to learn is your own move t make, you can try more to find out which one is the best for you.
At this moment, forget all those fx or fancy staff, just concentrate on the basic foundations, like lighting, modelling, mapping, physics and material surface structure etc. You don't need to learn the in-depth of these knowledge, like the math of raytracing, Nurbs degree calculation..etc. Just to know the surface of these knowledge is excellent already.
Finally, please feel free to ask us la!

I believe Animation have no limit in age, it really doesn't matter only if you are still young at heart. With your age right now, you should be working a bit more on the foundation more then which software package you are choosing. Remember, software is just a tool, what makes a good animation/CG is your knowledge.
learn better english, so you can read more papers from website (best animators are most likely to be in US and Canada). Learn better art and science (physic) because animation is a combination of art and science .....

however, animation is a lonely man job ... you got to decicate your life for a while to train yourself ... good luck
