Seem's like there are so many trouble in C.
I came from Malaysia, work in HK for 2 years, and back to m'sia for good now.
Actually this is the fact for CG industry in Asia i think.
Not only HK CG is like this, Malaysia too.
The working environment isn't so good and the boss or producer won't appreciate/ take care about the staff feeling.
I'm in this CG line for 7 years. Doing local and oversea TVC in post production house, Malaysia for few years. I can see many problem accure in the 3D company, the fact is, pay less and work very long hour. Somemore even the boss and producer have different direction/ opinion. So they will ask the animator come's out 2 different version of work, then only choose the best for final output.
This will heavier the staff working load and the point is, animator can't concentrate to focus on 1 directin and put all the effort into 1 work. There are lot's of 'minor' problem everyday in this CG industry. Good luck to all CG ppl

as i knew, Singapore CG company also the same, especially in the small to medium size company.
The working habit isn't so well, but as i said, it's the fact, you gotto face and take it if you working in this line.
but luckily, some big european invest company have better working culture.
I like the HK life style but the living cost is high there.
Used to worked in Science Park, Sha Tin for 2 yrs, just back to m'sia and start seeking the new opportunity.
quite enjoy to surf this forum especially for some interesting thread.

this is the CG trend in malaysia now. these company mainly in game production for those famous game platform like Sony PS1, PS2, PSP/ Nintendo/ XBox/ PC and etc...
