you might want to edit the alar juncture in maya to simplify it. that area would course some weird shapes when doing facial expression especially mad/ugly expression. remember K.I.S.S.

you can also use something like topogun to retopologize your character, so that you can have precise control on your character topology. I believe maya can do so by importing your zbrush character in, turn that into live, than use modeling tool kit -> Quad to retopologize the model just like topogun.
