i want to know how to open max 5 file in viz 4.
i tried export it to 3DS format but the material is not right.

pls can anyone help....

I don't think it is possible brother. Since some new features in max 5 that 4 doesn't have.

But you can just give it a try by Exporting to .3ds file rather than saving it as .max file.

by the way, you should post this thread in the Max forum section
