scad Hong Kong ( porfolio)

文章ayakiryu » 19日 4月 2010年, 19:55

Dear All

I'm going to apply the master course which organised from SCAD the Hong Kong branch and I can pay less for my fee if I apply their scolarship . In order to achieve the scolarship my porfolio must be proficiency .

So I 'm going to post the link of my porfolio to get the criticism from you . Any comments will be welcome .

I would prefer a specify answer more than a random answer . To tell the truth I understand my current level is not good enough so I need practise and professional advice from those people whom have proficiency in cg .

I think you have some software skills, like modeling and texture mapping, placing lights, etc.... but they don't serve you well enough to create good art because you don't have the eye to look for it, yet. Start everything by finding references for what you want to create, like the starbucks coffee in you portfolio, pay attention to how shadows look like in real life, look at translucency of paper cup and highlight of plastic materials under light. You also need to render larger images because they seem jagged.
