Anybody knows how to edit a HDR format photo for HDRI rendering?
Which software to use.
PhotoShop+Plug-in?
How to initiate the HDRI in Max, map it on a sphere enclosin the object you want to render?

but I can't help you for the Max part.

(but usually, it should be use as an environment map, or you can map it to a sphere and turn on radiosity or raytrace reflection...)

hdrshop can change probe format to an sphere enviroment map for max
