Enchanting Studio Limited, a CGI studio produce high quality Full CGI feature film, TV series, and visual effects. We are now looking for Surfacing Supervisor
Position: Surfacing Supervisor
Duties /Responsibilities:
• Responsible for overseeing the 3D surfacing of all characters, environments, and props in animation and film projects, ensuring that they adhere to the project's art style and visual effects.
• Supervise and execute the surfacing process to ensure that the final product meets quality standards.
• Ensure character, creature, vehicle, and character prop design work with Lighting
• Collaborate with the project's art director, project manager, and other relevant departments to ensure project deadlines, quality, and budget control.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Share knowledge and communicate openly with other artists
Requirements:
• 8 to 10 years CG 3D Surfacing experience in a Maya production environment
• Have strong leadership and team management skills to guide and motivate team members to achieve work goals.
• General understanding of animation styles and techniques as well as an excellent comprehension of animation production for film and/or television
• Proficient in at least one mainstream 3D software (such as Maya, 3ds Max, etc.) and relevant plugins, familiar with surface processing software such as Substance Painter, Mari, ZBrush, Arnold render.
• Demonstrated ability to work productively and willingness to take initiative in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
