Requirements:
- ~Proficient in using Adobe Photoshop
~Possess excellent 2D graphic design skills
~Good skills in illustration and environmental design
~Able to carry an idea from conceptual phase to finished illustration; and have an understanding of translating these ideas to real-time game environments
~Proven organizational and analytical skills, willing to take responsibility for own decisions and actions
~Strong people skills, be an effective listener, good communicator and great team-player
~Creative thinking and self-motivation
Actual Job Duties:
- ~Create 2D conceptual mockups
~Create and apply high-quality texture maps
~A good understanding of characters’ and monsters’ anatomy, and a sense of form, shape, structure, and silhouette regarding illustration and environmental design
~Knowledge in designing UI and effects will definitely be an advantage
An advantage would be:
- ~Working knowledge in designing and producing graphical user interfaces (including icons, buttons, toggles, sliders, etc.) for menus
~Skills for particle systems, post processing effects and shaders
~Other graphic design skills like storyboard drawing and 3D artwork
