Design Engineer (3D CAD modeler)
Looking for an experienced 3D CAD modeler to work closely with the industrial design team, to handle designers’ rough 3D files, modify and prepare for production. The successful candidate will work collaboratively and support the design team to ensure the final industrial design reflects the production 3D file.

Requirements:
• Diploma or above in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering related disciplines
• At least 2 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 1 year toy industry experience
• Advanced knowledge of Solidworks is Essential
• Advanced modeling techniques are essential (both surface and solid modeling)
• Knowledge of Rhino3D is an advantage but not essential
• Understanding of internal structure of toys and electronic products
• Understanding of the nature of different materials and molding processes
• Knowledge of CNC or RP machines is advantageous but not essential
• Experience working with industrial designers is a benefit
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:
• Organizing assembly / modeling / drafting for product design and development
• Responsible for building 3D parts, components, or complete product into 3D solid model from 2D design drawings or rough 3D references
• Taking designer’s complete 3D models and making them production ready
• Generate high quality 3D renderings for sales materials
• Handling various projects from conceptual design to production
• Report to design manager for daily progress
