IMAGI - Animator (Effects)

Job Description:

The Effects animator is responsible for generating environmental effects, dynamic simulation and fluid systems for film visual effects. Responsibilities also include the lighting, rendering and basic compositing of those effect elements.

Requirements:

• Degree, Diploma or TI graduate in design or animation
• Minimum 2 years experience in digital animation or visual effects film
• Practical experience with particle systems and creation of natural phenomenon and other visual effects
• Proficient knowledge of Maya and Photoshop
• Self-movtivated, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• Hard working and able to work under tight deadlines
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
• Experience with C++, mel, python, or other scripting languages will be an extra advantage
