Summary of Position
Create the motions, poses, and expressions of three-dimensional computer graphics characters and objects, lead and train junior animators. (Work location at Nanshan District, Shenzhen)

Skills
- Have a feel for movement and timing is necessary to produce convincing animation
- Be with creative and artistic qualities, along with the appropriate technical skills for character animation work, observational skills and acting talent, attention to details
- Be able to take directions, and work as part of a team and be able to communicate clearly with colleagues
- Be able to produce animation with Maya software and familiar with all the functions of Maya, such as rigging, muscle setup and modeling

Responsibilities
- Receive with each assigned shots briefed by a Director, Animation Director, and refer to established designs, models, and existing characteristics when creating the blocking of the shots received and movement of characters in each shot
- Produce rough blocking/layout and animation for the Director's approval in a daily review
- Finish work for Director’s approval timely as planned in schedule
- Supervise the work of the junior Animators in his/her own team, and be responsible for the standard of their team's work

Qualifications/Experience
-Have solid animation experience for at least 5 years in CG animation for TV series, DVDs, feature films, including acting, facial and lip-syncing
- Must be familiar with the production pipeline in CG animation production, and understand the techniques in each process
- Must be open to direction and able to embrace change
- An art background, which shows a thorough, understanding of human, animal, object motion, weight and timing to 3D animation
- Must be able to work as part of the creative team, to interpret decisions and to communicate them to the animation crew
- He/She needs to demonstrate leadership, management and organizational skills, together with the ability to take responsibility
