Renderman 4.5 安裝問題

主程式從pixar裡下載，Trinity的Crack。
在RUN PixarRat Keygen的第2 個Step Generate License時
出現Error說“Fail to execute Alfred.exe......”
但我已將Crack裡的文件copy到pixar的相應目錄。
還有我發現安裝後即有此錯誤事件在事件檢視器
Pixar Alfred Server 2.0 服務因下列錯誤而中止:

Flexlm License Manager對Pixar 的service也啟動失敗

機器使用win2000pro 中文版
運行FLEXlm的program有Maya 4, Xsi 1.51,
我有ethernet卡但停用
License.dat有造出來....

翻查事件檢視器:

我也安裝過Renderman 4.1 也有同樣問題，Pixar 的service也啟動失敗。

I found this information may help you:

1. ) Run pixar_rat.msi
(If your system doesn't support .msi install files, run instmsi.exe prior to installing Renderman Artist Tools).
2. ) The first window will concern license settings. Activate "Install License Server Locally" , use your ?omputers name for "Server Location" and leave the "Port Number entry" as is.
3. ) The following window regards server settings, click "Install Maitre-D Locally" on, choose Alfred server, and use localhost as "Maitre-D Name"
4. ) You now have the option to choose to install the documentation, renderman or both. Set as you like and click Next.
5. ) The installer will ask about Pixar License server settings. Leave the license field as is, and use default settings till the installer is finished. Click next till your are done, and do NOT reboot.
6. ) Now update the pixar files by overwriting/copying with the respective files from the updates.rar, just unrar into x:program filespixar
7. ) Run the trinity pixarRAT.exe keygen
8. ) In part 1 of the keygen, browse to x:Program FilesPixarRenderMan Artist Tools 4.5bin, and click "Go". Wait a little while the keygen does its magic. ?
9. ) In part 2 of the keygen, type the name of your computer in the "Computer name." field (Eg. trinity, or whatever your computer is called, then browse to x:Program FilesPixarLicense Server. Then click "Generate License". Please note that the Trinity keygen will automatically start the license server for you at this point.
10. ) Now use part 1 of the keygen to patch the alfserver.exe in x:Program FilesPixarServers 2.0, browse to it, and click "Go".
11. )Reboot your computer
12. )Make sure the server is running, then start maya and invoke the maya 3.x/4.0 plugins from the maya plugin manager.

I had the "PixarRAT.exe" genkey...need I send to you?, but may be you had it already..right?

actually I havnt install RAT by myself ....(it done my technical team of my company)

我在Window 2000Pro都install了地下版的 Renderman Artist
tool 4.5了 (MAYA 4也有) , 同樣地 ,用Trinity的Crack . 也在安裝時曾出現過 "PixarRat Keygen的第2 個Step "的錯誤 . 後發現有兩點要注意的地方 ,才可順利安裝 ,如下
1)把update.rar, 爆開去"x:program filespixar" (要"爆~~")
2)行pixarRAT.exe keygen- step one 後 , 我發覺在part 2的"hostid:"格中的數字最開頭多了兩點分號, delete後便可以
.........
希望你遇倒的問題是這個原因吧~~~
