Can't get in !

I've got 6 pc. One of it is running window2000, name it "iris". It just can see itself and can't detect the others. But the others just can see "iris" but not allow to get in.
They all are set in a same workgroup.

hi bmbm,

i met the same problem before, i am also new to setup a home lan.
i just solve the problem in my case, i guess that your new member goes into another sub-net, that's why they cant see each other.
do u assign them an individual ip? let'say 192.168.0.1 as the first one.
maybe the new member goes to 10.0.0.1...

anyway, in my case, i just set up a server (2000 server), i cant see members after installed. finally, i start using active directory and set it as a unique server in my lan. oh... i can see all members!

But the server stuff......I'm just too old for that.

只要將win2000既guest啟動就可以睇到喇!!
系控制台-->系統管理工具-->電腦管理-->左邊既"本機使用者和群組"-->選擇使用者-->double click右邊guest-->取消"帳戶已停用".

但系都唔work
我用ping試過，"iris" ping 去其他機就通，仲有10m，但其他機ping佢就唔通，而其他機互ping時，dos 內現出只有1m，不知這個有沒有關系？
