Dul cpu 問題

本人剛買了兩顆amd mp 2000+ cpu 按裝後為何在Lightwave7,3d max中render的速度和用一顆xp 1800+的速度及時間會一樣?是不是還有東西要做?請指教!

don't know about max, but in lightwave, you have to set the Multithreading to 2 or higher (depends on scene) in Render Option panel.

hello! rryria,恭喜發財,好嗎? 如你所說,本人現用a7m 266d底板,現用115hz 外頻跑這兩顆 cpu,但很怪!裝了上去後玩唔到game!已正常按裝而且是成功的但就開不到來玩,已前用一顆1800+ xp反而無事,3d max render的速度同用一顆cpu 的速度又一樣,真不知點好.我現用GF TI4400卡.

你用什麼牌子的ram 呢?

我之前用雜牌子512ram(膽系kingston), 不過唔系eec registered
結果system也要停在115hz度
跟著去了2cpu.com, 先知大部份同鄉都系用crucial這個牌子的ram
我去二手市場放了這枚ram
跟手再訂返crucial這個兩條256
現在可玩132hz, manually adjusted
即1715hz each cpu
機箱開門, 一把人用風扇勁隊
40-45度 cpu temp for each cpu
lightwave render bench mark scene: tracer radiosity
用了418s
我都好滿意
so far都未試過BSOD

DISPLAY CARD方面, 剛剛換了張9700pro變身fire gl x1
好可惜, a7m266-d系agp 4x
戰斗力大減
但起lightwave, layout 處理2百萬個三角型, shaded都全無問題, 好順

打機就未試過, 因好少打機
但我系行window 2000 sp3, directx 9.0

hello!我用的ram 是普通的DDR 2100 256x2M
我都明白RAM 是問題之一,不個ECC Re這類ram 很貴,現在買不起.

Supercat. For 3ds max5, choose Customize>Preference>Rendering. You should find a checkbox in the lower left corner called Multi-threading. Make sure it is checked. (I think it is already checked by default).

Besides, what OS you use? Your OS must also support Multi-threading.

If your rendering time still not improved, there may be another reasons.
