[請教]想問如果想砌部機做rendering，應該點砌?

xeon 太貴喇, p4d 同 amd 我又覺得分別不大. 仲有, 如果真系做 render machine 的話, display card 唔使太靚, 除非系做 hardware rendering 啦

同級 p4 同 a64
3d ren野一定系 p4快 d
就算 photoshop 都系 p4會快d
你可以 dual xeon
但 maya render 可能淨系用你 30%
又貴博唔過
可考慮 pd / a64 X2
如果等出年出新 dual core 會更好
display 可考慮 quadro fx540 ~17XX
有錢就 fx1400 ~5k

amd呢..冇intel咁熱, amd低時脈(Hz)已經可以快過intel較高時脈, 即系如果一粒amd和一粒intel同時脈既cpu來比, amd 會較快; amd另外一個好處是, memory直接與cpu通訊.
如果你想行兩粒U, 不如買dual core, 分別應該不大.
底板我會用Nforce4
但我未用過amd

this is meaningless
if you are not comparing the same class models
i'm not a fan of intel
but i just wanted to be fair
and think twice before you really get an amd for graphics applications and it'll be good to
look at the better computer forums/webs outside(not those in HK!)
