As a result of its successful ongoing international growth strategy our client, a world leader in the development and manufacture of personal infotainment and consumer goods is currently seeking a team of highly skilled, talented and experienced Product Designers to join its award winning team in Hong Kong.

Candidates for these exciting and highly sought after senior positions must be able to demonstrate a successful design background preferably from a reputable international consumer electronics brand.

Reporting directly to the Design Account Director you will be responsible for guiding the development of design ideas from basic concept through to fully worked out design solutions that will ultimately translate into manufacturable products that are of a world class standard.

You will be involved in guiding the creation of models and for the assessment of these models and you will also be expected to maintain, support and strengthen contacts with clients.

To be considered for one of these positions you will be an innovative and creative problem solver with at least eight years experience in mobile phone or sound accessories design and possess a meticulous eye for detail. Naturally you will be keeping up to date with product design trends and new technologies.

You will have excellent product skills including sketching and 3D Rhino or Alias, strong linear analytical skills, and ideally with a degree in industrial/product or relevant design area.

Also you are expected to be a clear and articulate communicator of ideas with a proven ability to work effectively in a fast paced, multiple project environments where priorities can change at short notice.

However most important of all will be your professional approach to work, high level of integrity, motivation, drive and enthusiasm, as well as your ability and desire to translate creative vision into commercially viable products.
