用$22.000hkd 系 City University 讀 Maya 值得嗎??

大家有冇聽過 City U 有maya 學?
我想報讀, 但覺得個CLASS太貴.

這個CLASS是PARTTIME的...2LECTURES (3hours each) AND 3 LAB EACH WEEKS FOR 6 MONTHS. HAVE CERT.

大家比d意見我啦. Thanks.

artcenter cost $80,000 to learn animation in 3 years, including maya, but no lab time. cos they only got one animation lab.
HKMA cost around $50,000 (I'm not remember the real cost) to learn maya.

I saw the course at HKMA (Digital Animation professional Diploma) 1 year class cost $38000.

I read many post that people complain they dont get jobs after studying 3D animations. But how come those college still charge that high? Is Hong Kong have market but no good people or many Talent people but no market??

I am still thinking to take that course or not....I may just learn by myself.

我在日本讀了年CG、用了13萬港元以上的費用（淨學費）
也不是學了些什麼東西出來。
其實有先生教的好處只是比自學快上手些、
畢業後能有張證書而己。
但基本上是不會學到太多技術方面的知識、
可能連先生也不會（我的先生就是例子 ）

如果你是一個能堅持、有時間和不怕困難的人、
建議你用38000去買參考書自學。
而且也不認為6個月的時間能把MAYA全部學會 。

學什麼software都是, 讀course只可學到基本口野, 要深入都系要靠自己, 但我對Maya是一無所知的, 用$22000 讀CityU可幫我快些上手, 加上有政府$10000支助, 我付$12000就可以. 也是不錯吧.

By the way,I am very jealous that you can studied in Japan. I like the enviroment there and the way they design is amazing!!! do you have web site?aris@Cavis??

我剛剛開始讀ja wor.....讀完真系冇用???
我以為學口左Maya, 我可以幫人draw interior, create animate cartoon, make special effect in films, is that CG in HK really dead????

你的想法我也是一樣，星期三晚剛上了第一堂感覺麻麻地！阿 Sir 越講越快，落堂前半小時我就跟不上了(可能自己未慣一面要聽阿 Sir 講、又要跟住做、跟不上時又睇下Note，攪攪下就...... ？？)

讀完3d又唔系完全冇用既....
不過如果你想搵工的話..... 一系你“家底厚”，以靠低微的人工來完成你的興趣；一系有愛心，喜歡做“義工”！！

yes...that's what i thought when i put 12000 dollars out of my pocket. That wednesday nite is a bit fast at last... also, up comming 2 class are in Lab is that mean we need to practice by ouselves?.. what do we suppose to do ??? we just listen 1 lecture only~

香港 cg 業己死!!

even though if u have few years experience, you also doesnt have much opportunity for changing job, since so few cg companys in hk

... and your boss will told u that we can replace u with one worth $4000/mth easily!!

(so many animators supply but with few demand in hk)

我系web designer o黎o既, 照你咁講系香港做web design 都好過做3d animatior. 我衰衰地都有過萬...夾埋d freelance 都唔錯, 我以為3d咁難學,識o左會好掂...3000 - 7000 per month...is unacceptable. 其實我又諗點解會咁底價, 會唔會系好多同行做爛市?做得太平???

香港cg有冇前途就唔知.....

但城大 D course 最好睇睇邊個教......如果有太多系"業內人士"就要三思啦..
因為很多時他們雖然十分專業...但教你唔明....

其實唔止cg course... 科科都要考慮這因素
