I would like to what is better bind pose for building a human like character . I am using a T-pose except that Arms are 45 degree downward . Ithink it has less foldings when arms are closed .

I think this bind pose should be fine for most situations except your character have some particular motions, like hunging on something, etc... In those cases, you might want to bind your character to a pose that close to the motion.

A T pose with both arms 45 degree downward is a good bind pose. It should be the standard pose for most situation anyway as its when the arms are most relaxed. Many people do the actual 'T' pose for binding where both arms go straight out with a 90 degree angle with the body actually is bad. The shoulder is actually not at a natural pose at that point.

Anyway, I have never found any problems using the T, 45 degree down bind pose with any characters, given its a bipedal, human 'like' character. Its much easier and better to rig the shoulders in that pose for most arm motions anyway.

I think it is acceptable to have minor folding at shoulder when arm is raised .

It depends on your setup. Usually, you should put one more joint between the shoulder joint and chest joint, we called it "clavicle" joint. When the arm rises up to a certain angle, the shoulder should lock down and shouldn't rotate any further. For the angle on, you should rotate the clavicle joint so that you can create a more netural shoulder movement.

"May I ask will it hard to get a good result on the shoulders of rising the arms up to the head with the T, 45 degree down bind pose ?"

Generally, arms rising isn't too much affected by your bind pose, its more how you set the deformation of the fold between the deltoid (the upper arm muscle above bicep) and the clavicle. Also, when you arms are up, the clavicle bone is slightly rotated upward, along with the arm so its important to show that. Also one REALLY IMPORTANT thing people tend to forget is the location or placement of the joints! Placing the joints' position correctly inaccordance to the limbs/body parts is very important. These can be hard to correct in the deformation stage many times.

Actually I find the bind pose position (45 degree down VS a straight T pose) affects shoulders more when you are trying to rotate the arm downward from a straight T pose.

This should illustrate what I mean:

You can tweak the deformation to push the rest of the deltoid muscle towards the arm when the arm bends down, but it won't be as natural and contributes to the cg look.

Hope this helps.
