"Maya Dynamics: Particles for Visual Effects " DVD

Did anyone c the "Maya Dynamics: Particles for Visual Effects " DVD which released by Alias Wavefront ? I want to buy but it's so expensive (US $129.95)........And I afraid it just show very simple demo.

This is a very good and intense DVD. One of the most advance training video Alias offers.

I know one of the guy who created the DVD and he is a TOP NOTCH particle/effects TD. He worked at ILM with Habib (particle/dyanmics guru).

Anyway, I know a lot of those training material most of the time aren't very good. No details, complexity, or non-real world / professional solutions. But this DVD is really good, if you can understand the content that is. It goes into Very intense expressions/melscripts in using Maya's particles and dynamics. Definitely recommend it if you want to become good with Maya's particles and dynamics.

I have this DVD, the content are pretty solid, included some real production examples which are script based effect.
If you want to see how they use expressions to achieve fx, it's a good material.

Hammer , 套DVD中,有沒有 Step by Step 咁教你點寫條Expressions ? 你認為參考價值大嗎?
由於這DVD都幾貴,,,故小弟一直未有把它買下,
上次買左呇a套Art of Maya都有小小被搵笨的感覺 , 希望你講多D 這DVD的內容 ..

Well, the value of this DVD is really depends on your skill, prehaps you will find it too simple to teach you anything, or just too hard to understand. But for me, it's pretty good as some of it's contents are real production examples. Especially the last 3 chapter as it make use of the particle runtime expression really well.
