Alias|Wavefront：
從2003年起，Alias|Wavefront如果與通用汽車公司合並，將利用大量
資金采用虛擬現實技術制作新的軟件，代號Aiden,此軟件將采用虛擬現實
建模。而maya將不再出後續版本。
Alias|Wavefront表示，代號Aiden的下一代建模軟件與現在的maya完全
接軌，凡是已掌握maya的設計師直接可以熟練使用Aiden,同時，Alias|Wave
front正在與通用汽車公司談判，希望投入30億美元開發下一代智能化動畫系
統Thifrn,以及非關鍵幀生命動畫系統。談判正在進行。為開拓思路，用人計
劃也正在起草。Alias|Wavefront60%員工將獲得帶薪長假，到處旅游閒逛以開
闊思路.
目前世界最大的100家汽車公司全部都是采用Alias|Wavefront進行設計和
制造，通用汽車妄圖控制Alias|Wavefront，從而擠垮其他公司，由於白宮出面
幫助，日本公司被Alias|Wavefront拒之門外。
據Alias|Wavefront內部人士透露，如果兩大公司合並，Alias|Wavefront的
動畫軟件將立即被注入大量資金，采用非關鍵幀、虛擬現實、人工生命等尖端技術
包裝全新的maya,Alias|Wavefront內部人士同時透露不會提價銷售。

世界上還沒有可以替代Alias|Wavefront產品的優秀軟件可以用於
汽車、飛機制造和設計模擬。因而通用汽車的勝利，標志著-未來15年，將會有
6家日本公司倒閉。
據說，由於Alias|Wavefront的高參，下一代生命動畫的創始人，出生於北京
的圖曉緣（音譯 xiaoyuan.Tu）的一再堅持下，Alias|Wavefront才沒有與日本
汽車公司聯合。圖曉緣（音譯 xiaoyuan.Tu）將於2003年開始領導下一代maya
的設計，Alias|Wavefront工業軟件將有可能不再對外發布，或提價，非工業軟件
有可能大面積降價。

Hmm.... Don't know if this is true or not, but I've never heard such thing from any of my friends here in the States (most of them are Maya users). And couldn't find your "offical press release" anywhere.
