Mac Maya Rendering Problem!

有無人知系咩問題？
唔知點解我想render某D frame就出現呢個問題！

某D frame 即系咩 frame? 有冇 check 過 ram 系咪突然用多左好多?

我都唔知系咩frame先有問題，咩frame會無問題，我都好困惑！
如果用batch render就個Mayabatch render某D frame出呢個error，個batch render都關埋！
我試過換番跟機Ram都系咁，用緊Mac OS X 10.5.2，Maya就8.5 SP1
我個maya file都幾大下有5X MB，但起window到render又無事

我大概發現到問題
原來系D燈，我hide左D spot light就無事！
但起windows到都render架，唔明點解會，D燈多會拖死Mac maya？？
有無方法可以解決？

你用 depth map shadow? 睇下系咪 shadow resolution 太大... 例如 4096 或以上

可能真系個resolution問題
我有兩組spot light，一組有開shadow，一組無開，我hide左有開困組就無事
唯一方法系唔系set細個resolution? 我依家個resolution系512，唔明點解起mac到render會出事!!

512 都有事.... 只可以講句.... bugs

改用 raytrace shadow 或者用 maya 2008 可能會好d


p.s. depth map shadow 某程度上會同 display card memory 有關系, 我唔知 mac 既 render algorithm 系咩, 用咩 display card 都可能有關 or display card driver 寫得唔好都有關系, 所以我成日都勸人玩 3d 唔好用 mac

10.5 is cancer. many older programs don't run well on Leopard. You should upgrade to Maya 2008 ext.1 or sp 2 if you want stable performance with Leopard.

但學校又用緊…8.5，我轉2008學校就開唔番

用 8.5 開 2008 既 file 時, 可以去 option box tick 左 ignore version

Like I said before, the best way to figure it out is to replicate the problem and do the screen cap of the report page to see what it says.

I'm using OS 10.5.2 with Maya 8.5 running in a Mac Pro 8 cores with 10GB of memory and I hardly have a problem.
