Maya cannot support Q9450?

Did you check the RAM usage when you render? may be the machine ran of RAM when render. That's I use 64bit, much more stable when render heavy file even with the same 4gb RAM.

windows update 之後已經冇事, 我系用左兩個 week 就撞 ram, 開唔到機

the problem is, the same scene cant be rendered with Q9450, but can be rendered with my old pc (Intel E6 750 Core 2 Duo 2+4 GB ram)

What kind of motherboard do you have? have you update the bios and windows?

It sounds like a RAM problem too. you might want to run some RAM test.

Seems like the problem is either the motherboard or RAM. I use Asus board and Kingston Ram, they work fine. Andrew, you should test your Ram 1st, maybe your PC has same problem as h2o's.
