據我所知 Centro有用softimage|3D 及 XSI..架!!!
manfond 同 digit digit 都有用 softimage|3d (但唔知有冇XSI)

There are quite a few production houses have installed XSI, and you should have no problem getting a job here cause there're not so many XSI animators around here.

Wonder if you're good in XSI cause I'm learning it and found it very different from the Soft|3D. BUT it's really powerful and ... the render tree is amazing ...!!

XSI's animation mixer is super powerful too
donno if u have a chance to play with it
but u will found out that
it is "so..............good"

They shall also integrate with a compositor so as plug-ins to output for Sockwave and Flash ... superb!!!!

Yeah, XSI's NLA is the best amongs all commerical packages. Great for gaming people!

Any ideas if 3dsmax/maya studios in Taiwan/Japan/China/Hong Kong require people to understand their in-house software before they hire? or a good demo reel by any software is fine?

Also, how's the industry/market in these areas? i mean ... which country have more CG jobs available in general? and which country's studios are more picky when they hire?

well, i know this is hard to say... hehehe... anyways...
