裡面有D coursenote, 有興趣可以睇下。

The tutorial Notes looks nice, well organize to let student pick things up step by step. It is better than Bournemouth(UK) FX course.

It is a good thing to enhance the art education quality in HK.但真系好貴!雖然會有scholorship可申請,但能夠拿到的人往往少之又少.

聽了各位高見,可能政府相把香港打造成"學府港",開辦多d名牌學府,吸引世界各地富貴學生來讀,一讀就幾年,條數都幾襯計. :mrgreen:

我又想問,搵舊裁判法院改建成設計學院,是否合式,裁判法院我都去過幾間,感覺都好軀緊!

歐美生活指數好貴,香港相對會平d
而且唔系人人可以拿到美國簽證
相信偉大祖國, 東南亞各國, 以至其他第三世界國家都有大把市場

求學不是求分數, 原來始終都系求名牌...

just noticed that a classmate of mine was a graduate student from this college. He was taking animation degree in US. His opinions are "they will teach you every step of producing an animation short, pre and post production, software etc... but not like Sheridan or cal arts that specify in animation. that's why I end up at AM now"

Malcolm Kesson is great CG rendering/programming master. He is work at department of Visual Effects in SCAD

His stuff qualifies him to teach a intermediate vfx course, i don't know much about him but i don't think i can say he's a master in rendering or programming...

Um... 系... 呢 d 肯定系一般 TDs 都會做o既基本o野, 呢 d information 上網都大把有得抄 ga。

如果對於一間 Studio o既 R&D Department o黎講, 呢 d o野根本就完全未入正題。唔好理佢系咪 Programming Master, 反正都唔識佢, 但對於一個技術人員o黎講, 令佢地頭痕o既根本唔系 Artist 所諗o既 "Programming" 問題, 真正有技術難度o既o野遠比一般 Artist 所想o既復雜... :-?

多一個比較專門的cg課程比本地學生揀點都系一件好事.

不過如果可以負擔的話都系去外國讀好d,最大分別系有機會系外國的大studio內實習幾個月開下眼界,pixar,framestoreCFC等等都會系暑假請intern.

系香港讀就睇怕都好難啦...

Savannah is ranked #3 in USA for its animation curriculum. With tuitions, room & board, meal plan and misc. stuffs, the tab will be around low to mid US$40K per year. This is very much what a better-than-average cost for private school here.

In my opinion, I really don't think, when everything is all set and done, the yearly tuition will be HK$210k per year. This is not justified for HK environment. The reason students pay premium dollars for US school including salary of teaching staffs, cost to operate a much larger facility, high tax and high cost of living. I guess the tuition will be around 100k since the school is much smaller.
100k is still a lot of money. Sometime, students in US go to some more affordable schools such as state or city schools in the first couple years to get the basic and transfer to a good one in the final 2 years.

Also, I saw the morning news on TV. The principal from Savannah is here already and there is already change in the interior decor of the build site already. It looks pretty good.
