我尋晚聽左個講座(由香港專業進修學校(簡稱港專)既講座,佢地話如果讀佢地課程的話(三年)咁就有間叫u of ulster(歐士德)of uk收喎俾個網址你(佢地個課程叫"多媒體高級文憑")u see see.

I think the course you going to study is more based on theory side rather than practical, which is not bad. What i was saying is, if you gonna study multimedia design...etc which are based on art & design area, then you will need to practice your drawing skills and read more books about design. Otherwise you will straggle when you start your course, is that make sense to you?

There are few University quite good in UK, try search [Surrey University] & Nottingham University. I'm not sure if they will do your course thought, you will have to find out.

I understand what you mean. As I considered many situation such as practising drawing, designing creative things, working hard in studying the software , I make this decision finally.
From now on, I have found my dream------develop Multimedia in my work in the future.
As you mentioned that my course is more on theory, what is the difference of the course on theory and on practical?
What is the difference of the content of those courses?
(那兩個課程有什麼不同?讀的內容有什麼不同?邊種才能的人適合讀邊個課程?)

其實你想(或者大家)想知多的的課程又或講座,可以逢星期三及星期五去7-eleven拎番份"recruit",又或者星期五去地鐵拎份"招職"裡面有好多課程同埋
講座資料,而且系免費架,大家一定要拎呀!

For practical side, it's more like hands on job, you are the one to build up something so you might need drawing skills, not sure about design skills but you will at least know what you designing.

For theory side, it's more like concept, structure...etc, basically it's like you are the one to plan how to complete the project and how to do it in a better way. You can be a programmer, for example; you can build up a custom application for your company to speed up certain job. So this is slightly harder.

Some courses will combined both of them, i'm not sure about your course, you will have to ask them.

Before what you were saying about the theory or practical side, I am still confused which school (emphasizing on theory or practical)I want to choose . Then , I realize that I dont have design skills (Principles and Method of Design),havent studied the course of Multimedia(Principle of Sound, Video production Multimedia Authoring), how can I finish a good porfolio without those skills .So I think the theory side is more suitible for me .During the period of learning thoery, I will practise what I learn in my home.
