I think the people in this school are good in skills. If u come here, u have better to prepare sth firstly. Otherwise, you will feel low level in front of those Aussie(Like me ><)

i knew tht Grittih Uni which is the most famous in QT

as i know, students study TAFE is better than study in Uni. As uni focus too much concept and thoeries, TAFE emphasis the skills and software development. it depends on what you want to learn or do. if you want to be a technican, you can go to TAFE/IVE. otherwise, uni trains designers.

i'm studying in TAFE

the students in my class have no skills at all
only 2 or 3 are really serious on their jobs

I am in Nathan. I think there are not big different. But u can learn animation in Nathan which is famous in teaching in Aus. I think u have to stduy more programming in Goldcoast. That is y I choose Nathan

actaully, i got a HD in hk first. then, i go to australia to study a BA start from year 2, sem 2. i will graduate this year. i can say i can handle those subjects to me as i did lots of same subjects in hk b4. however, it is difficult to aussies. they also fail and retake the subjects.

in yr2,yr3 subjects, we need to write reports, essays, artices and draw sketeches to prove your idea and design decision. as i know, TAFE in Aus focus on skills(software). you don't need to writre report, rite?

most of subjects are easier than hk (my HD program). that means HK standard is higher than Australia. we should be happy for that....man

how is your 1yr program? have hkppl study it?

in my BA program, only 3hkppl(including me, all 3 years).

i think Hong Kong teaching standard would be much higher than TAFE.

They just teaching some very basic things that u could learn form the tuts in the software. And there are not much theories.that's truth. ppl can say they focus on teahnique. however, these are only the basic stuffs. There are over half of the lessons are for u to do ur own study.

i'm now 20 years old. how about u guys? i'm very afraid to waste my time. i've just wasted 2 years on Form 6 and 7. Now i find my real interest here. i would do my best in this course.

i do want to be a University student ~~~~
