3dmax and Maya

Is it a 'must' to learn Maya if you want to be a special effect artist? Can 3ds max create special effect? What softare do people normally use in movie industry?

我諗雖然好多studio都用Maya, 都冇話一定要識Maya既，．．．香港來講，如果你3dsmax叻，都應該搵到工啦。不過學多d真系冇壞既，況且Maya都好普遍啦。香港好似都系用Maya占多一些。不過max都有唔少。
有時間的話學嚇houdini, renderman都好架。

可以做effect既software,plugin其實仲有好多,如realflow, blastcode等等...
你又要識comp, 懂shake, dfusion等等...會有幫助

不過大前提都系要先玩熟maya or max呢類 all in one 3d software
