I would say portfolio, experience and expected salary...

Can we say that those diploma or cert. are also important? As it proves that you have at least educated or equiped with certain knowledge. Then you need to have an outstanding portfolios because it shows how good you are, compare to your classmates. Well, I dont believe there are too many employers only look at portfolios; otherwise your wont see those recuritments stated that what educational background are required (of course, if your portfolios are great, they may also empoly you).

In short, certificates are basic; portfolios are for show off yourself.

i am also poly graduate.
if u do design, poly cert can be a good impression to design house. but you still have some creative ideas and works for presentation.

if you do CG, i am surely tell you you just only have portfilios that can prove your skills.

Are you saying that a poly cert gives more impression than a creative portfolio to a design house? Why?

我諗，讀書都系為左做好自己portfolio，唔系為左拿張沙紙黎曬太陽呱

in creative industry, no matter design, Ad or cg. Good Protfolio always be the higher priorty. Don't be silly to trust the cert only.
