小妹讀完平面設計出黎做左幾年而家想進修3D. 應用於平面設計及動態廣告/短片上.

我一直想知邊個 Software & plugin可以將3D應用及模擬做2D(例如:千與千尋,蘋果核戰,水墨效果)... 3D Max 定 Maya可以做到? 是否需要配合其他plugin/texture/shading? 邊度可以download?

另外我見到好多3d課程,而且大多數forcus於character & game animation. 有咩課程系有埋3D theories(e.g. perspective,3D sense)而不是單單學個software呢? 最好教程有教埋將3D模擬做2D,應用於平面設計及電視廣告/短片之上.

以下有幾個課程系見網友提過幾好既partime課程,但想問有邊位讀過而覺得好在邊方面?系software上教得好? 定系連3D theories都教得好?

3) 國內進修 - 請提供資料及課程內容及意見

3D Max 定 Maya 都有 做卡通的 shading，兩者 render 方法都會有flash swf 輸出。

我見你兩個課程來源是maya，所以你都系揀maya 啦！
maya 個卡通shading 比較易學易用。

課程是打好基本工而已，明白 Software 點用。
卡通shading 是個別項目，不一定課程會教。
但放心去書店一行，應該有多本書有描述卡通shading 點用。

約略上了幾堂，明了maya 個介面，問一問sir 卡通shade 是什麼 ，再去找一找書。

maya 水墨效果有多本大陸書都有講! 不難找來學。

To start with 3D, I think both courses u've mentioned are ok. Either maya or 3dsmax is ok, usually both softwares can help you to do what you want to do.

2 good books I recommend:
1. Digital Lighting & rendering by Jeremy Birn
2. The Art and Science of Digital Compositing by Ron Brinkmannn
These are good because they teach concepts, not softwares specific

If you are really into computer graphics and want more 3d concepts, you need to pick up some books on mathematics for computer graphics after you have some basic concepts of 3D.

u can go to DataBank to find it or ask the bookstore to order it for you, and of course you can find them in amazon.com . Hey, a google search is much easier than waiting someone to answer this "Where can I find that book" question.
