The keyword is "High Dynamic Range", JPG is LDRI which is "low dynamic range". Here is a page with an in-depth explaination of HDRI: http://www.trinisica.com/sub_learn_type ... &issue=002

Simply put it this way: LDRI normal has 8-bit color depth per channel, while HDRI has 32 or higher color depth. Meaning that it has much more color information than TIFF, JPG, etc... It has a much large room for color correct, exposure change, etc...
Many 2D and 3D programs support HDRI, even the latest PS CS 2.

系呀,不過要開GI and FG。其實吾一定要HDRI先可以用黎打燈，就算jpg都一樣可以。只要map個file o系 Ambient Color度，再加上GI就掂。不過D高光就無用HDRI好。睇o下我post條link啦，雖然系for max o既過道理系一樣。
