Hi all, my name is Jonathan, or you can call me 阿褔. I'm new to this forum, but i'm amazed by all these great art works and love the enthusiasm from you guys! they truly inspired me!!

a little bit about myself. I graduated from a US art school, spent 4 years and got a degree on art history, animation and illustration. came back to HK 2 years ago and worked for IMAGI since then. worked on Astro Boy and Gatchaman (although it didn't make it, sadly). I absolutely love to paint, paint and.....paint

I love to paint environment, was trying out some custom brushes and was attempting to do a action hero piece...but it turns out, another environment..

was thinking to make a Chinese courtyard environment piece, so here's a quicky b/w block-in just to see how everything is working together. I like the camera angle and the composition. Just that i need a better design of the sculpture in the middle, now it's a mess. and i wish the middle piece can move toward the left a little, just so the left side won't be too empty.

still a lot needs to be done...comments are welcome, thank you
