請問點解會用 brown skin, white hair, blue eyes?

因為呢個設定同 Disney - <Atlantis: The Lost Empire> 好相近..... 如果睇番以前既油畫, 就比較多以歐洲白人為藍本 ^^

Yes that's the concept from the Disney's one ^^
Just imagine, if they are the people who lived near to the sea, darker skin color makes more sense~ And for the blue eyes, that's the color of the sea, sooo yea ^^
Ar right! u just inspire me more about Atlantis, why do they have to be sea people? What if they lived under the sand?
For me, adaption is always more fun than only sticking to the origins ^^
Anyway, thanks for the comments, I will take a deeper look into the classical paintings~~ Let's talk again next time^^

Actually, in the past every time when i drew a character, I always had a story and a long history about that person. With that I can imagine how he/she talks and acts, because visualize a personality is very important when we are sculpting a character.

This is how I usually design a character.

But now, although I also work on long stories, I feel more comfortable to draw random characters. They are mostly for fun and more importantly, for practice. I found out that it will be easier to create a character if I do not try to put too much messages on a single one

simple cartoon style is not good for showing personality of the character i think?

but i think every art form has it own way to deliver a message
and the essence of the message varies on individuals
this is the fun part of art i reckon
