newbie, my harpy

hi, i'm a newbie.
i usually use adobe ai to draw,
here is my first post here.

first hand-sketch scan,
then draw in ai (grayscale),
finally coloring in photoshop.

the gradient mesh is earlier to use than i thought.
but i use much more time to work on small details.

please give some comment~~
(sorry that i'm not good at chinese input)

I use a photo from magazine as a reference for the pose.
And I read from wiki that harpy is originally beautiful winged woman, then later tuned into monster as most people known.

It is quite embarrass when I started with a naked body at home, with my mom watching from my back. And as a result there are more clothes than the first idea...

Andrew, I know that there is a 'Speed Painting' thread, but I draw quite slow......., the orginal hand draw of my picture took me more then a week...(maybe more)....
I've keept seeing good painting here~
