a question about IK

does anyone know how to make two eyeballs follow one point to move in MAX...

that means, I just need to move one pt, both eyeball will follow it to rotate......


are there have any tutorial about IK?

also ....can you guys recommend some MAX book for me(Related to animation, IK setup.......etc...) ?

1. You make two dummys(Call "A" & "B" dummy) and place them in front of the two eyeballs.

2. Then you make one more dummy(Call "C" dummy) and place it between the two dummy, you made them in the first step.

3. You select one of the eyeball, and then go to the motion panel(On your right side with a wheel logo).

4. In the motion panel, select the rotation in the Assign Controller listbox.

5. Then click the "Assign Controller" button on the top left side of the Assign Controller listbox.

6. Select LookAt Constraint in the Assign Rotation Controller window.

7. Click on the box of "Keep Initial Offset", and then click the "Add LookAt Target" button in the LookAt Constraint list box, and select the dummy in front of the eyeball.

8. Repeat step3-7 on the other eyeball.

9. Link the "A" & "B" dummys to the "C" dummy.

10. Move the "C" dummy and you will see what happen!
