in case, you got lots of pcs for networking render...
or you do that by max script...but it is very advanced to me
i can help you to ask someone for the way of max script...

Alright, here is another one
Try this in command: {your max path}\3dsmaxcmd.exe -x
There's a whole list of stuff that you can do with the 3dsmaxcmd. From simply render a scene to submitting a job to backburner.
Example: 3dsmaxcmd scene.max -outputName:image.jpg -width:800 -height:600
h20, yes it's very much like maya.
Try this in command: {your max path}\3dsmaxcmd.exe -x

得左...雖然max help 打錯野...
遲d得閒會send email俾autodesk有debug
...好采得公司一位script神幫助..最後得左.
不過同maya command render唔同....
max果command render會開埋個max出來,
一樣咁食ram..原因max既render engine同max本身系連接一起,
maya就分開,
so只系家中先用到,公司就冇咩用,

用notepad paste以下command, 再save as bat file.
之後open bat, done.
當然你d file path and scene name要correct啦
主要系set up output path and max file path correct就得
"c:\program files\autodesk\3dsmax8\3dsmaxcmd" -o="c:\program files\autodesk\3dsmax8\renderoutput\scene1.jpg" -w=320 -h=240 -frames=1-33 "c:\program files\autodesk\3dsmax8\scenes\scene1.max"
pause
之後open bat, done.
當然你d file path and scene name要correct啦

I'm a very "low hand" with Max...
BTW, same as any .bat, you can queue you render by lining up the commands.
Example:
"c:\program files\autodesk\3dsmax8\3dsmaxcmd" "c:\program files\autodesk\3dsmax8\scenes\scene1.max"
"c:\program files\autodesk\3dsmax8\3dsmaxcmd" "c:\program files\autodesk\3dsmax8\scenes\scene2.max"
etc,...
