[MCVS 01] - Penthouse Apartment

I always wanted to do a penthouse apartment in a high-rise building, I guess this will be a good chance for me to design it.

I have roughly did a layout plan. The basic idea is to have an open plan apartment. And personally I like water, and I always think it is a good idea to have water element inside the main living area. Therefore, I have put a high-level pool next to the balcony. I will make it more intergrated to the apartment later.

I want the location to be in Hong Kong, as it will has a great view with the victoria habour.

This is to test the spacial feeling of the apartment. The only thing I don't like is it feel a bit too small... I might make the solid wall to the left more clear later.

My suggestion is to have higher ceiling... I think the space is big enough, but the ceiling is too low for a penthouse. just my 2 cents

I think the kitchen should move... where it's locating right now is kinda strange...Normally in a penthouse like this, you want this whole area to be just the living room, and have the kitchen somewhere behind where your camera is... basically you might be putting too much stuff in there. again my 3 cents...

Living Room extended 2M, looks more comfortable now.
Personall, I don't like the kitchen to be far away in a separated room, as it should be a convenience place to cook and collect food etc.
