Time for some updates:
Concept:
I've been brainstorming about concepts for a while. To be honest, I think 10 seconds of magic trick is really tough!! First you will need to have a trick that can be completed within 10 seconds. Secondly you need to make sure your magic trick is believable to someone's eyes. And lastly, you need to ask yourself a question: Is it only 10 seconds of making the magic trick or 10 seconds of just acting or a little bit of both? For me, I think I will go with the last options. I can only say this is going to be quite challenging.
I have been a big fan of pixar. Most of the time I like to take many of their films for my reference. I really liked their realistic and yet very cartoony animations. So I try very hard just to imitate how they animate their characters. The animation test of the magic trick performed by "Emile" from ratatouille has really inspired me. I will borrow a little bit of the idea from this and use it in my animations.
So the magic trick that I will be performing is very simple. I am just going to make a coin disappeared. But, I will be adding a little bit of stuff there just to make it a little more interesting. Also, I will be having few characters in my animations so I can do some interactions. I'll try to make it as simple as possible.
About storyboards, I don't really have one. But I do have this tiny sketch of poses that I did during work.
