Are there any tips on tree modelling in lightwave?
such as, the textures {any free downloads of tree barks, leaves?}

What kind of tree you want to create ?

for detail and complex tree creation, you can use Onyx Tree, if you want simple and not precise tree creation, you can try a Lscript call TreeCage (search for it in flay.com la )

onyx tree is a standalone tree generation software, it's not free. I've used it once 2 to 3 years ago so I don't think I can give you a good comment about it right now, go to the following link and have a look yourself.
