I'm a beginner of 3D.
I wanna buy a new display card for learning 3dsmax
what display card should I choose?
my buget is around $1000

you can get a pretty good card with 1K.

I'll prefer getting any Ti of Nvidia Card. Since although ATI has openGL support. but i heard alot of ppl haveing trouble with the 3D application with that card.

and what about a cheaper one?
as I'm only a beginner........I don't know what level of display card is suitable for me.

IT doesn't matter which brand. As long as they are nvidia chip and it's cheap!!

then is it important to have a display card with AGP 8X?
if yes, then I can't have the motherboard with intel chip set.......
