This thread is going wayyy OT, but what the hell...
I find it interesting that everyone's arguing about the value of paper qualification, but nobody mentioned the value of the academic training (I'm afraid to use the word education -- it sounds almost... dirty nowadays) that leads up to it. Says something about the state of HK's education system.
BTW good paper qualification does oil one's career machinery, good academic training does improve one's professional work, and bad academic training under clueless teachers is an absolutely waste of money and -- even more importantly -- time. So, people, carefully choose a good education (in the best sense of that word) and go for it -- you'll be grateful for it for years to come.
