Christian CG Artist Come in

Recently I am reading a series called Left Behind. It is a novel about the End of the World according to the Revelation of the Bible. I am thinking whether it is possible to form a CG company in Hong Kong to produce the animation for that novel. There will be altogether 12 chapters depicting the emerge of AntiChrist, and different phases of Judgements including the Seals, Trumpets, and the Vails. The story will definitely arouse the alertness of our fellow Christians all over the world, and have evangelical purposes for non-believers. Especailly after 911, many non-believers become interested to the Revelation, and ask what will happen in the End of the World.

I think I will try to contact the authors and publishers to seek their approval. Let's do something for the Kingdom of God.

The story is about the adventure of a 747 pilot Rayford Steele, and a young reporter Buck William in experiening all those events at the end of the world. They then converted into Christ, and formed a socalled Tribulation Force to fight with the AntiChrist, Nicolae Carpathia amongst all those Judgements decribed in the Bible. It is a very figurative and intriguing story.

The first five has been translated into Traditional Chinese and of course many other languages. You can buy them from every Christian bookshop. If you are interested, please have a look. The chinese name of first book is 末日迷蹤. Please read it and pass your comment to me about its CG creation feasiblity.

I also reading this series book,If change it to CG it's a greet idea!
However,This series of book only is the authoer thinking .Bible dosen't say that what time is the end of the world,If we made the scene in visible ,that may limted the non-christian mind....
In the bible ,the most important things is "Salvation"....

Thanks for your reply. I am so glad that you are reading the books too. I am also happy to see that you and your group is doing something about the topic of salvation. I will go and have a look. See whether I can play a part.

However, please note that in America this series has already brought lots of non-believers to Christ. Turning them into CG could definitely attract a much wider public. CG is actually a very useful springboard for evangelism. I am not saying the Left Behind series is very accurate (it is only a novel with lots of imagination), but it could still somehow stimulate the thought of believers or non-believers towards the coming of Christ and the disasters that we or our next generation are going to face. Left Behind is definitely a good reminder to all of us.

I find the series extremely interesting especially when my bible study group is doing the Revelation as well. I find it very rewarding when reading those prophesies in Revelation, Daniel, Matthew, and Eziel together, and compared what are depicting in the series. The Left Behind Series has somehow deepen my understanding on the Bible, and what our Lord want to talk to us about, even though I may not fully agree with the authors' views.

You also know that series of book are not 100% truth, if you show to the non-believer would they check the bible to know the truth?

Anyway, Pray to the GOD, if HE want you to done this,He would show you clearly by bible,bothers and sister,clergyman,etc.

Thanks for your reminder. Definitely I will pray for this thinking, and see whether it is God's Will to carry on the good work for Him. Sharing my intention in this forum with my fellow CG artists can also be regarded it as one of the many ways in testing out. So far, there are several responses from some artists through private mails to me. Trust me that I will keep on praying, waiting, and seeking. Thanks.

Regarding your concern over whether the audience will finally read the bible to find out the truth, my fellow brother, non-believer will never read Bible unless he feels interested or urgency to read it. For examples, after 911, some of my colleagues approached me about the bible's prophesies regarding the end of the world. Then I make use of the curiosity, I bought a bible for one of them to read, and share with him some of my bible findings too. Therefore, the CG we are going to make can at most be regarded as the frist step to arouse their interest or urgency. Please read Romans 10:14 to 15. Evangelism always requires some channels or common grounds to bring non-believer in and to allow communication, whether it is a 911 disaster or a movie. And of course, eventually inviting them to church, reading Bible together with us, and, hopefully with God's Will, becoming one of our fellow brother should of course be our ultimate goal. And be the ultimate goal of All christian too!

By the way, so far I am reading the Bible together with the fiction, I find there is no much conflicting views in the Bible with the fiction. Are there anything that you find having problems? Please share.

You know what? The best thing to do is 3D bible! Make the stories in the bible to CG! It is one of my dream, but too bad, I'm still beginner of CG and learning Maya. May God bless me.
