我都聽聞過‘畫出界’。我吾在hk去吾到。系咪好似 Akin 都有份講野？好羨慕你地有咁多活動可以參加。

吾好意思，呢句吾系好明。

我既工作情況？arm arm 轉左工無耐。公司系做 game 。家陣做緊 concept artist，主要付責 hard surface / props。返公司通常都系畫下 D 飛機大炮，有時都會畫下 environment 咁羅。

呢個 forum 系一個好好既渠道互相交流。我都希望多些朋友 share 作品及心得。

Yes! I want to learn this!
I want to paint more effect in Corel Painter.....but it seems that no course teachs Corel Painter. Most of course teach in illustrator or photoshop......

I am still learning Coral Painter in internet by myself. It is really too long time to understand about the operation skills. Anyway, I will keep it going

I am a bit confused about your question You want to study concept design or just effect painting? They are 2 different things bor


If you to just learn how to paint the effect in Painter. That's easy. I'm not too familiar with the course in hk, but I am sure there is quite a few short courses around. A friend of mine is teaching Painter in Art Centre. Go to check it out.

You can either find a short course to study, or self-taught. The software are become more and more user friendly. I would suggest just go to buy a book or follow some tutorial from the web. No need to join the course if you have basic knowlege about Photoshop or other pragrame. You won't learn much from those course anyway.


For the concept design job. I don't think there is any course mainly for concept design. Not even in UK (Maybe there is some in Canada). All the concept artist came from different background, graphic design, fine art, product design, car design, 3d artist, game artist......

Most of the concept artists use Photoshop instead of Painter. It doesn't matter which software do you use. The most important thing is your eyes and your brain.

It is coincided that I found new book of Painter IX Book in my school library today. I booked it . I expect.....

Oh .....You guess right that I want to learn about the concept design. Concept artists is my dream job. Anyway, I will not give up if it is difficult work.

I am still a student and study in HD Digital Media. I will graduate this next year. I am interest in fine art and 2D/3D animation. However, I don't know what job I can do .
