yes ar, i learn rhino recently, it's quite easy to learn
it's suitable for u too!

zaptos,
what u mean by "whispering..."?
i think it's impossible to export rhino model to mesh in 4 point polygon because there's some mathmatics inside... of course i dont know la... even for maya or max...
but for still image, i think it's quite affordable in lightwave
i am eager to use lw8 because it supports unlimited points and polygon in one object, this greatly reduces the trouble conversions between lw and rhino...
p.s. the triangle mesh is the most reliable method to keep the appearance as nurbs form so far... we can apply "smooth" for the triangle mesh in some cases... of course not perfect all the time

it takes me a lot of time...
pls forgive my lazy texturing... it really takes time to do in details

from version 6, lightwave already removed the limited of points and polygon in one objects.

it's a problem with the rhino exporter, may be it's still using lw 5 objects format to exporter.

i just check from my manual... it really support!
then, the problem surely comes from the older exporter
because i still use rhino2.0
i dont know what updated in rhino3.0

Rhino 3.0 improved in the modelling method, almost nothing got improved in exporting........did you try .stl format?
