my first nurbs model

my first nurbs model. used Sony MiniDisc player as reference. i will probably work on the texture too. i am still learning the texture part of it.
software used: Maya 4.0

During product design, one must pay attention on the manufacturing process on the product you are gonna draw. E.g., the upper case of the Sony MD was made up of Aluminum sheet by means of forging, and the side was made up of injection molding, so you have to pay attention on those unavoidable molding, manufacturing and surface defects found on the product. Also, pay attention on some very minute and tiny features as they sometimes tells whether the rendering is realistic and professional or not!
