Very amazing image. i did tried to create an enviorment like this back in the old days, i know how hard it is to create one like so.

there has couple things that i like, and couples that i don't.

good lighting: i really want to know what color of your light. since sun light isn't perfectly white, and not yellow. somehere around yellow, white, orange. shadow light would be the light sky blue.

Good use of fog: i can see there has a layer of gray in the far mountain. that's i am pretty sure is fog.

Nice water, and those stars. do you mind telling me how do you do it?

Grass patches, i can see clearlly those grass are made with patches. an alpha map of break up edges will help alot. also use a alpha gradien map to fade out edges.

Boat, ground, buildings. I am expecting some dirt on some of the areas, to show the age of those objects. Dirt and settle break up will help to bring out reality.

ground. don't use the default cloud from photoshop. it won't work on ground, mud texture.

mountain. i am expecting to see some rocky part of the mountain. there should, well, some sharp edge of those mountain should have alittle of rock showing in those area.

The texture of the mountain. hum adjust the hue, so that it has alittle bit of blue. since of the reflection of the sky. they should have some blue tone.

trees, same texture repeated too much.

stars on watch. I like the idea of star. but just a bit too much. look at some pictures like those. in those kind of sun light (sourse) that's way too much stars.

sky, the blue seems funny. that's not sky blue.

samething with the roof of the houses, repeat too much. use clone tool of photoshop to even some of it.


overall, really great work!!!!

there has one more thing. how come the boat is sinking!!!???

Overall looks very good. I agreed with most of HapZungLam's points. One more thing is the shadow looks kind of weird. You'll see what I mean if you look at the area just right under the rooftop, there's no shadow there.... May be you need to adjust your ambient/fill lights
