Anyone tell me using Polygon or NURBS making 3D is more easier & faster? Cause taking so long building up with NURBS(think of 3 dimention), I usually Polygon the shape and then do the meshsmooth, I found the fingers are hard to bend and look nature...

Yep, Nurbs is very difficult to control(in Max only!), Max is so bad at Nurbs control, if you only make the rendering as still picture, then I recommend you to model your character in other software!

it is all depend on what you like. I used tobe a Nurbs modelor back in the day. But once XSI has subdiv. I became a polygon modelor.

For today's 3D world. getting less and less ppl using nurbs. becaues they are hard to control, and hard to texture. With subdiv or polygon is way much easier to use. and it doesn't have any different if you do the smooth.

If you are using MAX, i strongly recommand you to use polygon. MAX doesn't have a good nurbs operator. If you are a lightwave user. Subdiv is the best
