請問一部行倒maya/ 3d software 的電腦, around how much?? 在買機時要注意什麼???

CPU, P4 -2.x is enough, and the prices is not high.
512 more ram.
ATI fireGL display card
and the other same as normal PC.

I recommand Quadro for running Maya.....
It's a hell lot different (much faster) from FireGL, based on my own experience...

my PC:

Display card - Quadro FX500 - £170 ~= $1900
CPU - AMD Althon 1800+ - $500
Motherboard (very cheap AGP 4X) - $800
RAM - 1GB - $1200
soundcard - SBlive (3 years old) - $500
HD - 60GB + 80GB = $1000
CDROM..(or DVDrom) etc etc....

less than 7k HKD ...even with a home-use monitor....

my comp. is considered to be "cheap" now =_=...
but works prefectly with Maya, Painter ,combustion ,photoshop etc......
and Quadro FX500 have all the functions of Geforce FX 5200...
no problem for gaming as well
