Don't think that way! B'cas I'm also a Product Designer.
I draft my design on paper first, then draw the preliminary outline, molding/engineering detail, decals and dimensions in computer using Corel Draw.
Then 3D model and render in Rhinoceros and Flamingo, finally polish the rendering Photoshop.
You can do it if you spend time and effort on 3D.
No pain no gain, right?
